Bonnie Gribbin - Arthur Rooney.  During the seventies, my mother knew and cherished her relationship with Betty

Rooney.  They were friends and shared a mutual love, the Steelers.  Often my mother would speak of Betty and

always ended with a great story about the restaurant in which Betty and Art owned.  I’ll never forget, a child myself then

of the Christmas card my mother got from the Steelers franchise.  I thought it was bigger than life and when my mother

passed away in 1988, I somehow lost it and wished I had it to show my children and grandchildren.  The Steelers were

so important to my mom and still are to her whole family.  The legend lives on.
